Sometimes we don't need more resources... we need a new way to think about resources we already have! In this session, we'll explore both new repertoire and creative approaches to familiar favorites. Participants will discover how a single song can become a springboard for improvisation, arrangement, movement, notational literacy, and more. Whether you're new to repertoire-based teaching or have been teaching this way for decades, this workshop is for you. You'll walk away with new songs and fresh eyes to re-imagine your favorites.

Victoria Boler is a professional curriculum writer and elementary general music teacher. She is also an EdD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at Valdosta State University, where she researches the intersection between active music-making and classroom management. Victoria earned her Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Florida and has completed Level III training in both Kodály and Orff Schulwerk. Drawing on her roles as a curriculum designer, teacher, and researcher, she serves music educators at victoriaboler.com through grounded and artistic curricular resources.
